Cormach - A journey that started in 1960

The company was established in 1960 by Ernesto Comensoli. Back then production centred on hydraulic lawn mowers, self-propelled loaders for scrap steel, excavators and agricultural feeders. The production of lorry cranes commenced in 1975, and quickly became the company's core business. In a few years Cormach developed specialist expertise and became an international benchmark, with success in over 50 markets around the world.

Creativity and technology made in Italy

Our cranes and their constituent parts are the result of Italian creativity and engineering. The entire production process takes place in our facilities where we carry out all of the necessary stages, such as structural steelwork operations, laser cutting, bending, robotic welding, assembly and testing. We have highly automated storage facilities and a fully stocked spare parts warehouse.

The central boom

The undeniable strength of our technology is what is known as the 'central boom', which gives our cranes unparalleled movement stability, even at significant heights and capacities. The system we have designed also enables loads to be distributed on a support base which is very large compared with other cranes on the market, while keeping the overall dimensions compact. In the section on our technology there is an in-depth presentation of Cormach's latest technology and techniques.

A solid group
Success hasn't changed the CORMACH management structure, which has continued to be a solid family business despite its expansion into the international market. Even the initial excavator construction business remains, thanks to the company EUROMACH which was established in 1977 and is now an international benchmark for spider excavators (visit www.euromach.com). Furthermore, in 1981 the production of subframes, special equipment and the crane installation department were split from Cormach and produced under the name CENTRO GRU. Finally, the company MACH TRE was established in 1982, which handles the production of all processed components from cylinders through to swivel joints.
A reliable network of dealers
In addition to the aim of developing advanced technological expertise, Cormach has always viewed being able to count on a network of reliable partners and dealers as fundamental, and has an efficient and widespread sales network around the globe. In Italy we have collaborators in all major regions. See all dealers here.
